Overview

Haralez: Noisy Beginnings of the Cradle is a poetic essay uncovering erased Armenian histories embedded within Istanbul’s urban landscape. Centered on the former Surp Hagop Cemetery, now buried beneath Gezi Park , the film follows the Haralez, mythological spirit-dogs who move between worlds of the living and the dead.
