Seventy-six-year-old Elvira lives alone, finding comfort in the glow of her television. When news of a cockroach infestation sparks panic, she turns her home into a fortress of insecticide. But as a strange, viscous substance begins to thrive on the poison, the boundary between the infestation and Elvira’s own decay starts to blur.
