Carlos Gómez Salamanca

Biography

Colombian filmmaker specialized in animation, experimental art, and immersive experiences. He has directed the short films Carne, Lupus, and Yugo. His work has been awarded at festivals in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. In 2023, he received the National Award for Audiovisual Creation in Experimental Media (COL) and was nominated for the César Awards (FR). He has served as an international jury member at the Annecy Festival (FR), Havana Film Festival (CU), APA LAB (ARG), Animasivo (CDMX), Festival Equinoxio, and at IDARTES open calls in Bogotá (COL).
