Jharana Thapa

Biography

Jharana Thapa( born March 28, 1975) , is a Nepalese film actress, producer, and director. She established herself as a top star in Nepali cinema during the late 1990s and 2010s. She made her Kollywood acting debut in the 1996 film Daijo alongside actor Bhuwan K.C., and later earned critical acclaim for her breakout role in the 1998 movie Dharam Sankat. After a two-decade career in front of the camera, she transitioned into directing. She made her directorial debut with the film A Mero Hajur 2, which was released in September 2017.
