Traci Lind
Biography
Traci Lind (born April 1, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American former film actress and model. Discovered at 13 by modelling agent John Casablancas, she transitioned into acting with the 1986 drama My Little Girl, before playing a host of scream queen parts in films including Fright Night Part 2 (1988), Spellcaster (1988) and Class of 1999 (1990). Her other credits included The Handmaid's Tale (1990) and Voyager (1991) for German filmmaker Volker SchlΓΆndorff, Barry Levinson's Bugsy (1991) and Wim Wenders's The End of Violence (1997). She retired from the entertainment industry in 1997, explaining in a rare email interview in 2013 that acting was the wrong path for her as she is an intensely private person. "As soon as I figured out how to segue out of it," she wrote, "I did."
