Irene Montini

Biography

Irene Montini was born in 1994. In her photographic work, reality is undone in order to create a personal, dreamy and surreal imaginary. Irene builds up her artist role through visual interpretations always in-between fashion and art. She create photographic projects, films and experimental animations for brands and magazines such as Gucci, Disney Studios, Luisa via Roma, Nike, Ferragamo, Reebok, Vice, ID, Sleek magazine, Schön magazine, Contributor magazine, Loom-est, Pap magazine, WRPD magazine, The Collector, Heal magazine, KubeCommunity. Other works have been published and reviewed in Art Tribune, Vogue Italy, Exhibart, La Repubblica, Corriere della Sera, La Nazione, Io donna, Marieclaire. In collaboration with Rocco Gurrieri she exhibited in contemporary art museum Museo Novecento in 2020 with the exhibition “Incanto”. Then in 2021 at Museo Ferragamo with a short film named “Look back Anouk” that won the Young Prize by Cinemazero.
