Season 2

Lele is eager to see Alice again after her declaration at the airport, but a letter she sent seems to cast a shadow over the future of their relationship. What will happen? Lele goes to the airport for Alice's arrival, but in his place arrives a woman Alice met in Africa and to whom she gave her ticket. The two lovers still have to wait, but what will happen when the time comes?

Lele decides to give Alice the ring he bought her some time ago, but it seems to have disappeared into thin air. Meanwhile, the relationship between Cettina and Giacinto seems definitively over. It's Lele's birthday, but the whole family pretends to forget about it so they can throw him a party. Meanwhile, the doctor's relationship with Alice is kept secret, but how long will they be able to live in hiding?

Libero wants Lele to marry Alice, but his son doesn't feel ready yet. Er Pasticca, a friend of Alberto's, asks him to deliver some pills, but they end up in Annuccia's hands. Alice has planned a romantic weekend with Lele, but he has to go to a conference in Turin. Among the colleagues will be an old friend of Lele's, of whom Alice is terribly jealous.

Cettina asks Giacinto to meet to clarify their situation, but he doesn't show up after being stabbed. Cettina can't know this and assumes her ex deliberately didn't show up. While at Alice's house, Lele learns that his girlfriend has been receiving calls from a manic admirer for several weeks, and he doesn't seem to want to stop there.

Libero enters a contest to win a dinner with a singer, introducing himself as "Henry Killed Spider-Man." His grandfather takes home the prize: Max Pezzali arrives at the Martini house. While the Martinis are on the radio, Lele receives a phone call telling him that Alberto has been in a car accident. Everyone rushes to the hospital and discovers a very different reality.

Alice spends more and more time at Casa Martini. Alberto feels responsible for the accident that left his friend Adriano disabled, but thanks to his uncle's help, he finds the strength to visit him in the hospital. Lele and Alice have decided to get married and are looking for a place for their honeymoon together. Everyone helps them find it, but each has their own opinion, and in the end they decide to make do on their own.

As preparations for Lele and Alice's wedding are underway, Alice is plagued by doubts. Lele finds a letter in which she expresses her confusion and wishes to think things over, far from him.

A group of girls dressed as odalisques show up at Lele's bachelor party, including one who looks very similar to Lele. Alice catches him red-handed, but are we sure she's right? The wedding preparations seem never-ending. The village where Alice spent her childhood vacations is chosen for the wedding ceremony. But there are plenty of setbacks.

Lele and Alice are finally married, but as they're leaving for their honeymoon, she has a miscarriage, unaware she's pregnant. Their plans change dramatically. Maria and Reby have a great idea: have their friends play music in the garage! Will they manage to get Lele's permission? Giacinto plans to quit his job as a security guard and open a shop. Will Cettina allow it?

"Pasticca" apologizes to Adriano, but will she be able to earn forgiveness? To escape Carmelo, a very persistent suitor, Enrica takes refuge in the Martini house. What will Lele and Alice come up with to get some alone time?

Alice feels constantly sick, and a few people are already telling her that she has all the symptoms and might be pregnant. Lele, however, fears something serious. Alice has an ultrasound and discovers she's expecting twins. Lele and Alice return home to tell the others the news when a phone call comes in informing Grandpa Libero that his friend Fausto is in the hospital.

Grandpa Libero packs his bags and leaves home due to his two children's constant arguments, ending up in a nursing home. Until he learns he's been appointed building manager. Nilde wants Lele to go into the delivery room, but the next day Lele wakes up late and arrives at the hospital after his sister has already given birth, to a surprising black baby boy.

Alice and Lele announce the gender of their unborn children to their family: a boy and a girl, but the happiness isn't shared by the entire family because Annuccia becomes jealous. Alice is very anxious about the arrival of the twins, and bombards the family with advice and readings from birth manuals. Not to mention the contractions that terrify her and force the couple to rush to the hospital every night.

Alice tries to help Maria, who is going through a difficult time in her life: Roberto has asked her to make love to him, but the girl doesn't feel ready for such a big step, even if telling him is difficult.

A great job opportunity for Alice is ruined when contractions begin. Meanwhile, Lele is in the hospital where Giorgi died from post-operative rejection... Will he make it in time for the twins' birth?
