In six episodes, we reveal life behind the walls of Latvian prisons. We meet those sentenced for life and document their daily routines at the Liepāja, Grīva, Valmiera, Jelgava Prisons, as well as at the Central Prison. We explore why a strong prison subculture still exists and how it shapes inmates’ lives.
