Season 1

A new cohort of interns joins the Pines Hospital. This is their first day and their last chance. The interns are thrown in the deep end when a wild storm hits, flooding the hospital with casualties and cutting off the power. The young doctors must work together with program leader Gloria and maverick registrar Curtis to restore the hospital and its patients back to good health.

Ellie and Curtis are forced to bend the rules in a matter of life-and-death. Jimmy has no time to recover from his traumatic first day when paramedics deliver a young boy with severe internal bleeding.

Gloria's authority is challenged, Jimmy battles a medical mystery, and a wild night leads Lisa and Josh to unexpected places. Mia teaches Yosef a valuable lesson.
