Overview

Su Yao, a modern head chef, drops dead and wakes up inside a novel as a consort banished to the Cold Palace — where everyone can hear her private thoughts. Every attempt to escape the plot ends in her death, so she gives in and plays her role: cooking her way to the emperor's favor.
