Perf just wants to go home and forget about this questing business. A mere yellow robe, he lacks the wizarding skills necessary to retrieve the legendary Sword of Fighting. But when the loud-mouthed sword falls into his hands, Perf finds himself targeted by others who want its power, including members of his own party. A fantasy comedy from the makers of The Gamers.

Captured by a mysterious assassin, the party must navigate the City of the Dead. Meanwhile, Wren continues to chronicle the epic, but must defend her storyteller's rights when the charismatic Silver Tom arrives claiming that the epic has been granted to him. And in the east, Karn the Barbarian uncovers word that the Sword of Fighting has been unearthed.

Glorion tracks the party to a dwarven mining town, intent on retrieving the Sword of Fighting from hapless wizard Perf.
